Salvation
We're so glad you have decided
to invite Jesus into your life. It is a very simple thing to do.
Simply pray the following prayer out loud or to yourself.
Heavenly Father,
I know that I am a sinner.
I come to You now with a contrite heart, and with true repentance I confess
my sins to You. I acknowledge Jesus as my Lord and my Savior.
He died, was buried, and was raised again from the dead on the third day.
Come into my heart and into my life, Lord. Help me to be all You
want me to be, and to grow in you as Your Word commands. Thank you for
your forgiveness and for my salvation. In Jesus Name I pray.
Amen.
Welcome
to the Family of God. Some people experience feelings when
they receive salvation; many do not. Do not take the presence or
absence of such feelings as an indicator of the validity of your salvation.
If you, by faith, have received Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as your personal
Lord and Savior, you have passed out of Satan's death family into the family
of God! Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, has come into your life
and you are a new creature in God (2
Cor 5:17). And to those who receive Him (Jesus), to them He gives
the power to become sons of God (John
1:12), and whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be
saved (Romans
10:9-13). He that believes on the Son has everlasting life (John
3:36).
Perhaps you are saying to yourself,
"Now what? I've accepted Jesus into my life. What's next?" Here are some things to help you grow in your spiritual walk.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
" (Romans
10:9).
