Music Minister Ken Taylor

Mr. Ken Taylor is the Director of Music at OBC. He and his wife Angela have been married for 15 years. They have two children: Henry, age 8, and Veronica, age 13. They joined Oakton Baptist Church in January 2006.

Ken was born in Boston, Mass. He learned to play the piano at the age of 7 and was playing in church at age 13. He began leading church music in 1990. He first trusted in Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in 1980. Ken earned an undergraduate degree from the Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, Wisconsin, where he sang in The Madrigal Handbell Choir.

In addition to leading the OBC Choir and Congregation during morning and evening services, he maintains an interest in symphony, light opera, reading, and political writing. Ken has worked in management and operations for IT companies for the last 15 years.
