Pastor Lewis and Barbara Holmes have lived in Northern Virginia most of their adult lives.  They are parents of three daughters, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.  They have ministered at Oakton Baptist Church since 1984, where he serves as senior pastor.  Pastor Holmes is a graduate of Liberty University and has done extensive studies at Trinity College.  Prior to his present ministry, Pastor Holmes served as chaplain with The Good News Jail and Prison Ministry in the Fairfax Adult Detention Center.  He also served as Youth Minister at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Fairfax Station, Virginia.
