Adults

In addition to the regularly scheduled services and Sunday School, Oakton Baptist Church offers various special ministries for adults:

Women of Purpose - A monthly women's service ministry, in which the ladies of the church provide their touch to the building and grounds, as well as other projects. The Women of Purpose meet at 10:30 AM on the last Saturday of every month.

Circle of Love - The Circle of Love is a Luncheon and Fellowship for persons 55 years and older. The Circle of Love meets the first Saturday of each month. The luncheon is held in the Church Fellowship Hall and begins at 11:30 AM. The church provides the meat, beverages, and bread; those who attend bring salads, hot and cold side dishes, and/or desserts. Following the luncheon there is a program. The program may consist of singing, paper games, Bible quizzes, speaker, craft, musical program, or a time of sharing. From time to time, the Circle of Love go on a day trip to a local place of interest.

Ladies' Bible Study - The ladies of the church meet every Thursday, 12:00-1:00 PM, for a time of Bible study and prayer

Celebrate Recovery - A Bible-based time of teaching and counseling for those recovering from addictions, depression, or other disorders, meeting Thursday evenings from 7-9 PM.
