Curriculum

Oakton Bible College is for the sole purpose of educating the non-traditional learner. We want to teach people who may be beyond college age and who have families and careers. Our goal is to help develop students to communicate and teach God's Word to others and mature in personal spiritual growth.

Our Objective:

To teach men and women of God to minister the Word of God, as follows

  1. Information: What does the text say?
  2. Interpretation: What does the text mean? (2 Tim. 2:15)
  3. Illustration: How can the text be explained? (Matt. 22:2)
  4. Application: How can this text be applied to my own life? (Ps. 119: 11, 15, 27)
  5. Propagation: How can I teach this to others? (Col. 3:16)
